Turbo would be fun, but I think they were in the Limited package, yes? We'll likely go with an SEL, and it's got plenty of power.

My father has one and he absolutely loves it. Of course, he's a an old man with notoriously poor taste when it comes to cars.

Oh and I should mention, that since the VW 2.5L is not the most efficient fuel mileage-wise the penalty at the pump has been very modest.

Thanks for bringing this back up. A Flex is on the short list to replace our MPV. I have 3 kids (7, 11, 13) so use of the rear-most seat is important. The MPV can swallow a weekend's worth of luggage (a big suitcase and some duffle bags) behind the 3rd seat, can the Flex do the same?

Thanks. I was looking for personal experience but that was a good reminder to look up the cargo space of the MPV. Looks like the Flex has 3 more cubic feet. If we move forward I may take the luggage with us on a test drive. Oh, it is also rated to tow 1000lbs more than the MPV.

We don't have one, but my mom and several of our friends do. I'd say yes, it can handle that amount of luggage. It's a pretty large vehicle. The room behind the 3rd seat is quite generous.
