Wow. Just Wow. Just when you think you've heard it all. Obviously the bio-dad had a less than stellar ability for making decisions just by the fact he had substantial finances AND drove a Dodge Journey besides all this other E36 M3.
This is a good example of how someone makes sure nobody is going to make any effort to remember ANYTHING good they've done in life. Only the E36 M3 is going to be remembered. A sorry, sorry dude.

That's the nicest thing anyone could say about him. Even his siblings had nothing to say at the service. I've seen letters he sent to my wife and SIL and they're just terrible.

My wife has cried for the first time over her relationship with him. Not because she misses him or about lost connections. But how, even in death, he still wants them all to know he considered them terrible people. And in some ways she's angry because he really lived off the money and compassion of his mother. He inherited a third of her assets, which was substantial, and decided not to use that to help out his own family. Sure, some good charities are getting some decent funds, but that doesn't wipe the slate clean. Just because you toss the emperor over the railing at your death it doesn't forgive you for all the younglings you killed.
