Saw a really unique modified C7 a couple weeks ago. It had a lot of body modifications - almost an open wheel look. I was driving and unable to snap a photo. Has anyone seen it and have a photo?

This one is apparently local to Atlanta:
It's actually a C6 underneath, with the body kit made by Valarra
somebody spent ALL that money on the body kit and then runs bald tires on it...
P.S. am I the only one who looks at tires on all sports cars and immediately prejudges the owner based on tires.

I dunno, the fronts seem to have plenty of tread.. it's only the backs that are bald. I wonder why that could be?

Those are probably due for replacement, but it's not like Sport Cup 2's have much tread to begin with:

the tires on that car are not sport cup twos they are Vredestein Ultrac Vorti's. If you look at the frist picture you can see the writing on the side of the tire.
That is a 320 tread wear summer tire.

Huh, you're right! Those are definitely bald then.
It almost looks like there's a paper license plate barely visible through the rear bodywork, so maybe somebody is just out enjoying their new toy?
Bald tires are an excellent indicator of financial preparedness for rolling awesome. I love seeing a shiny Range Rover with bald (or better still, mismatched and bald) tires . . .
Aside from the tire discussion, it looks like the sort of car to announce to the world that you're really a big kid and just enjoy life. I dig it. I'd like to believe that the rear tires are bald from doing stupid burnouts and such in pursuit of said announcement that you're really (really!) driving a real hot wheels car.

I don't think I could bring myself to send tires to the dump unless they're at least totally bald, or ideally corded

Definitely.
Except those weird spikes with the knobs. Its been a few years, and we still don't know what what they are. It's the one thing that has collectively stumped us.
