This winter I have 4 batteries to store (1 for the Alfa, 1 for my motorhome + 2 deep cycle).

Assuming that I have all 4 batteries fully charged, does it make sense to connect all 4 of them together and hook them up to 1 charger/maintainer, such as this one:

Thanks,

Paul

Assuming the batteries are all in good condition and fully charged, I'd just disconnect them and let them sit until spring. Cold weather won't hurt them and they will actually discharge more slowly.

You link doesn't show me the charger you're looking at, but unless it's designed to be connected to multiple batteries, don't hook multiple batteries to it. Paralleling batteries is a bad idea and would confuse the charger because of the current draw.

It's a bit labor intensive, but if it were me, I'd put each one of them on a charger for a week at a time and switch them out weekly over the winter.

I'd be a little surprised if a fully charged battery today would still start a car in the spring, depending on what "spring" means to you and on how old the battery is. It might do it, but I wouldn't bet money I couldn't afford to lose on it.

I've been doing it for 30+ years now, no problems...

The one in my Civic would go completely dead after the 4 or 5 month mark (I store the car for 8 months out of the year)

I'm using a Sears trickle charger now.
