Not nearly enough, but I'll take what I can get.
Basically all gone in the twin cities. We had a brown xmas and I don't mean that the family had the stomach flu.
My county is so efficient at road-clearing these days, I never even get a chance to have any fun on the roads outside of full-on blizzards. Guess it's just as well since I no longer own a WRX with wintersports, and the GTI and truck aren't very enjoyable in in the slippery stuff. I'd take the e30 out (it's on snow tires), but still working on it for the winter rally in a few weeks, so it's staying where it's clean and dry .. The Porsche could be fun, but people around here suck at driving and I'd probably end up getting hit by some soccer mom going 70mph in her Suburban.
We got our first notable snow overnight so this morning my wife and 4 yr old were out trying out the Christmas sled for the first time while 11 month old and I watched from the window.
There was also a mini snowman.
It's barely enough snow. You can still see grass poking through at the crest of the hill.
That’s a 500+ hp Miata on 245-section RE71Rs. Not the car’s natural environment, I had to drag it backwards to the top of the hill with the XJ.
150 miles south of me, Irish44j has some depth of snow. What is on the X is all we got here this morning,so the Healey pic is from '76 at an icekhana put on by the Taconic Auto Sports Club, I took second RWD to a monster Karman Ghia....I wish the text didn't get split by the photos....All snow in new photo melted by 10:30.
Even though there hasn’t been a single forecast calling for more than a dusting here we have been in full panic mode. I’ve been on call since I left at 4pm yesterday and all our snow trucks have been manned since 8am yesterday.
aaaand.....I caved and dug the rally car out of the garage to have a bit of fun. Which I'm sure I'll regret, since now I get to work on it all dirty for the rest of the winter.
We got about this much at our farm in north central WV. It was excellent weather for deer hunting. At home, two hours south, not a flake on the ground.
went driving in the Sequioa to run an errand and some guy in an Audi S4 almost smashed into me when I stopped at a stop sign. I saved his car from my trailer hitch by stomping it in 4WD. Seriously AWD people, get some decent tires....
No snow. We probably got our 10 years worth last year.
There was a nice cold drizzle to keep the blood flowing though.
In Southern Ontario, winter is definitely lacking. Cold enough to make your face hurt though (supposed to be -19C overnight).

And when it does snow you call out the army to save you, typical Toronto attitude...
meanwhile in Ottawa
We had a little snow here yesterday. I got the tractor out of the backyard today because doing it before the snow came would make too much sense.

I'm not in Toronto.
I'm originally from North Bay - I know how to shovel.
We're up to 9" here in Northern Va.
Meanwhile, the site of the Waste Management Winter Rally (in northern pennsylvania), which takes place in 4 weeks (and we are competing in), has zero snow on the ground. The world is a cruel place.
