It didn't look before, when it was a spider-style build. Was even likely an AutoX with those wide slicks.

However, the addition of the Mini headlights, the paint, windshield and going back to street wheels and tires just sucked all of the awesome out of it :(

Due to the fact that the interior and drivetrain are pretty legit, I felt compelled to fix the things that are wrong with it and turn it into an epic autocross machine....via Photoshop.

I gotta be honest.

I like it.

That motor would find itself tossed in a jiffy, though. It's already got a Supra trans, so the motor choice is pretty obvious.

The only thing is the TR6 motor is one of the best sounding motors of all time.

The car is already "ruined." I would just ruin it better.

I may or may not being helping to put a MKIII engine and transmission into a TR6 right now.

It does sound really good for a tractor engine. Funny thing is that my Ford 3000 is pretty good sounding engine also. But that 2.5 is also one of the most limited engines for performance. Ask me how I know.

If you're gonna do that to the body, might as well throw some more sacrilege (and ponies) under the hood. 3S-GTE?

For some unfathomable reason no one seems to have bid on it!

If the price stays low, it could be worth saving to toss the body and start over on the aesthetics?

How is it possible to take that many pictures of a car and not accidentally wind up with even ONE that shows the whole nose or tail?

That baffles me also. But I see that all the time on auto blogs where they are supposed to be showing a car for the first time. For example, they'll have a bigillion pictures, and none of the rear. Or they'll point out one particular design feature in the article and then not show a picture of it. This would seem like common sense to me, but if professionals can overlook it, it shouldn't surprise that a guy like this would. Or maybe he just doesn't want us to see them!
BTW, I do know that blogs and mags often aren't the ones that took the pictures and can only show what they were given, but you can still blame the guy that took the pics for not showing everything.
