I still can't fathom why anyone would do this. The lack of underhood pics leaves me with some hope that the seller meant CORvette. Or maybe CheveLLe. Or that the last owner was previous and not pervious. Then again maybe he was both

I didn't even think of the diesel. Dammit now I want it! I'm thinking pervious thoughts. 
The diesel would be kind of cool. TDIs are a popular swap. I wouldn't mind putting one in mine.
