Not sure I really like the rear wheels outside the bodywork on anything made after 1930 or so.
To each his own. I like the open wheel treatment on some post-30's cars
Russ Weber's stud is one of my favorite customs EVER
That's friggin beautiful!!!
Seems to be a common idea
A quote from some place called Stanceworks:
"During a slow winter at the shop, he pulled in the fully running and driving 2002, a car some people would love to own, and busted out the plasma cutter."
I think it's pretty bitchin!
From a design aesthetic, I find the electronic look of the mod motor a bit out of place here with exposed coilpacks, plastic intake, etc....
A runner '02 isn't THAT rare... or pricey. Many old cars that look reasonably good can hide plenty of rust that make a proper restoration cost far more than the car is worth anyways. Personally I don't care if the car was perfect to begin with... his car. As Shock G once said... "do whatcha like"
i like it alot, looks well done, just needs some plymouth prowler type rear fender treatment maybe

It's got an LS1 with headers pointing straight out into the atmosphere. What's not to like?
It would be a whole lot cooler with a 12 cylinder BMW engine in there.
Can any car be called a Rat Rod if it is built in a fabrication shop? Rat Rod should equal boneyard parts put together with caveman skills. Anything beyond that is just some dude with a fat wallet.

I like Nocones and Loosecannon's versions of carving up a shell better.
Flattered to be mentioned.
I find it strange that a shop that specializes in LS swaps would post a video of using so much starting fluid on what should be a very easy to do swap given the electronics of some of the stuff they claim to do.

Well to be fair, that's usually all that is left of a 2002 after you cut all of the rust off. No front fenders, shock towers probably gone too...
Yeah, as long as he didn't cut up a good one, why not?

I LIKE IT!!
ive been trying to sell this for years...
they are just not worth what you would think.
That 2002 with some circle jerk nerf bars would flat rule.
Its already been said, but I'll say it again:
Needs NoCones-Inc fender flare treatment to wrap the tires.
I do like it, but wouldn't want to own a 2002 in that configuration.
It's crazy but I like it. Not sure if I would want to drive or own it but still pretty cool.
I'm waiting for someone to build one of those cars with competent engineering. Every one I've seen has three modes.
1. Sit still and look awesome.
2. Cruise slowly and look awesome.
3. Make great clouds of tire smoke, while looking awesome.
I want to see these things autocrossed or tracked or something. I know that's not the point of them, bit it's what I'd want if I built one.
I see this around town all the time in the summer. 235 six, three speed on the floor.
It makes me smile.
