Soooo, I moved to Charleston SC about a year ago and all my car project buddies live in the craigslist Nirvana of Atlanta. I currently have time for projects, but not the money. Whenever this would happen in the past, I would just go help out with someone else's project. The challenge, I don't know anyone down here. Well I know people, but not any car people.
Anyone in the Charleson/Mt Pleasant area that needs an extra set of hands? My skills are less than Edd China and greater than an 18th century blacksmith. For better or worse I know more about e30 BMW dis-assembly and reassembly than is healthy. Any expertise I have acquired is in the area of suspension, brakes and holding things while other people weld them. I would love to learn/assist with an engine or tranny rebuild.
