My son's first car was a 1963 Buick Special w/aluminum 215. (20 years ago). After bending a screwdriver and flipping a tiny spring out into the grass; he was very appreciative of the green plastic bag hiding on the bottom shelf.
The best $15 HF ever spent!
I have that tool and have never been able to figure out how to correctly use it.
I had 6 vehicles with drum brakes. One went away and was replaced with a van with disc rear brakes. So till have 5.

Great. Another tool I don't have and now I want. I may not be a fan of drum brakes, but I race a FV so I spend a lot of time messing with them. I was seriously annoyed about the rear drum brakes in my 2020 Tacoma, though. And, I have plenty of cars where the parking brake is just a cable actuator for the rear caliper, so completely drum-free.
These tools are kind of essential for doing drum brakes. I have mine for many years. Still hate doing drum brakes. Each time i do one, I have a brain fart, and can't remember how they go back together.

There was also a special tool for removing wheel bearing caps, it looked similar to the one pictured but had jaws that allowed the cap be pried off without bending it.
Ooh! As a guy with an embarrassing number of trailers...this sounds like a tool I need to seek out and buy.
Yes I have wanted to get a dust cap plier for a while now...
