I agree about cargo with the seats in place. While the 3rd row of my van is rarely upright, there is still a ton of space behind them. Deep too, since the floor well the seats fold into is now available.
And I really don't get the whole "soul-sucking appliance" comments. Pretty much every car sold today is a soul-sucking appliance. So I figure if I'm driving such a thing, then I want the best "appliance" I can get.
And no minivan has reasonable storage with the third row in use.
What? Are you sure you don't mean SUV? In my experience the BEST suv has only the same storage behind the 3rd row as an average minivan. Unless you are talking about Rondo or Mazda5 i really have no idea where you got this notion from.
Well we did it. We pulled the trigger on an 09 Odyssey EX-L its got 90,000 miles and fresh tires, and fluids. Now if anyone wants to buy a navigator let me know. Thanks for taking the time to offer advice everyone.
