That is a bonkers (in a good way) ride. You have quite the collection and it is only getting better. We need to schedule a tour of garages! Some will be more interesting than others, of course .

This thing is BONKERS. Its more akin to sailing then driving. Its so much fun, tires were just horribly under-inflated and dusty put 35psi in them a quart of oil and drove it 35 miles home.
Such a different experience from my Tbird which feels light and toss-able. Carb needs a rebuild due to the old gas, steering rack needs to be replaced as well (you can move the wheel almost 5 inches back and forth before you get the wheels to respond. Stereo is decent as well with just the one speaker. Everything works, every gauge, every switch, every single little thing down to the little chrome flaps that open above the door to keep the wind noise down.
This is better then any 40-60's rolls or Bentley I have ever driven.
Its slow though, like glacially slow. secondary's are not engaging right now so 0-60 is like 20 seconds. Every now and then the varnish moved around in the bowl and I got full power and the thing would just take off.
Also 4 speed automatic I think. I love that in a car this heavy, might even convert the TBird over from manual at some point.

Its a De Ville spec car with the interior out of a la salle. Power windows, brakes, steering, has the stereo has the extra chrome on the nose and the trunklid.
As far as I know it goes on spec I don;t think there were many things that you could get other then the high beam eye and wheels and tires.
So
6200 Basic for a Cadillac of the era. 2/4 door
6300 De Ville 2/4/Convertible loaded up reasonably.
La Salle Big fins very expensive some extra interior bits. Different rear end chrome.
1957 cadillac biarritz/Eldorado The big mama jama. Something like 15K for the car. That's more then a Rolls Royce from the same year at the time.
Ordered a steering rack and a carb rebuild kit a few minutes ago. Hopefully will be here by this weekend. Also found that the rear window switch for the passenger is stuck. Even got the interior lights to work. when I open the door. Need to adjust the TV cable as well I imagine based on how it is driving, will not know until the carb is rebuilt.
