+1 I'd easily pay $5K for a clean '77 Celica liftback. There was one for sale at Carlisle this year, but the seller wanted a LOT more than $5K... about $17K sticks in my head, but it may have been more. The car was amazingly original including the oh-so-70's mustard yellow paint.

So I don't think the asking price is bad at all if that's the style someone likes.
