the stickers for the parts go on the car before the actual parts do...

I thought it was when you buy parts for a car then buy another car before you install them. 

Then find them years later when you get back to the first car.

Judging by all the parts I've moved from house to house for cars that I never ended up fixing or even buying I believe there are a number of definitions.

In fairness most of them probably have the stickers on but didn't actually put the parts on.

What's wrong with stickers on your car? Especially one that makes reputable, well designed, race crafted parts? Besides I'm in the middle of installing them. Unlike my last car, where I drove around with the stickers on for a week before I got around to installing them.
