So if someone drags one of the "You need this" cars to the challenge, do they get some kind of advantage? Like an extra $100 to their budget?

I'm looking at this and thinking of the the 400+hp BPs that BP Performance Specialties puts together and having evil thoughts.
Yes yes I do... My room mate in college had one. His grandma won it in a contest! Very cool cheap little car.

If I wasn't diametrically opposite this car in geography. I'd do it.
My Festiva was one of my favorite cars. The fact that it cost me only $100 certainly helped.
