You may recognize this 1993 Eagle Talon from the pages of our magazine. It competed in our $2015 Challenge as an exhibition entry. Now it's being sold by forum member NordicSaab for $6200. Oh, and did we mention it cranks out 660 all-wheel horsepower under a whopping 42 psi of boost?

The car only ran in exhibition. It was not under the $2000 budget.

How much would you pay for 660 horsepower?

And if it had been under $2015, that's still only the cost of the parts. Buy a 1g DSM for $1k (if you're really lucky) and ask your local speed shop to bring it up to 660WHP for $5,200 including parts and labor. Give me a call next week when they stop laughing at you.
In reply to Ed Higginbotham :
well that makes sense then, otherwise I was gonna say...
With the DSM's, it can be done for less but this car has quite a few nice bits. Justin built the car himself, so if you want to know ANYTHING about it you can get a solid answer from him.

It's a damn good thing I don't have $6200 to burn right now. 600 hp is nice, but an awd Talon with 600 hp is even better. Jeez, I'd probably hurt myself.

Less than $10 per horsepower? Wow. What a steal. Care to trade for a Miata?
Great deal! Way more than 2x the power my DSM made at a fraction of the price. Can only imagine driving this thing!
Thank you for all the kind words.
I'm open to trades and negotiable. Also, if you don't want the spare parts it's only $5000
I had an auto 1g gsx pushing about the same power through a stock engine, hx40, and v3. It was a budget build and yeah I broke it lol. I used to run on small circle track and kick ass! It was a POS that was the epitome of DSM back then. I miss it.
