Gorgeous, and I'm not even really a BMW guy. Makes me wonder how many pieces that cage is... not likely it was welded in and painted in the car?
Also... why go back to the D-pillar with the cage? Don't wanna crush the groceries in an accident? =P

That way you can have rear passengers with head injuries as well?

Plus, in the case of a roll-over, it'll create a nice pass-thru to pull the bodies out of the front seats after the a-pillars collapsed.
