A purple Rad-era wagon powered by an inline-six? No, we aren’t talking about a BMW, but a Chevrolet.

Built for the Brazilian market, this Chevrolet Caravan Comodoro is powered by a 4.1-liter inline-six that’s backed by a five-speed manual gearbox.

Per the seller, other notable features include factory air-conditioning as well as power windows, steering and brakes.

Brazilians went almost as hard with the I6 as the Aussies did.  Should be able to find more than that 2bbl for that engine

Why do I see hints of Fox-body Mustang in the front and Ford Pinto in the rear.

Most people importing 25 year old cars seem to be looking at the wrong market. Brazil has the coolest old "american" cars.

It's like a bizarro world car, or from the Gunslinger series where it's a slightly adjacent parallel universe with unknown makes and models of cars. Just enough familiar design language mixed with the unfamiliar makes a sort of uncomfortable uncanny valley car.

I feel like the Brazilian-market VWs get all the love (not that they don't deserve it), but I've learned recently there's a whole world of Brazilian-market Chevys out there, too.

Oh man... so much want.

My sale prediction: above $20K... but it'll really depend on if two guys with the means decide they REALLY want it.   If I had the room I'd consider bidding.

It needs a Barra, baby.

That nose is mid-80s Ford Falcon XF.

...which also came in a fairly attractive wagon.

A rough Photoshop edit, but here's what I would probably do with it:

Then, of course, find ways to add power.

I want this real bad.  Had American wagons and 510 wagons.  Audi made some slick  wagons in the nineties.  Probably good that all my home bays are full...
