It looks amazingly clean, and new tires too (you can see the sticker on the tread of one tire in the photos.) A friend had the AWD version of the tall wagon years ago, I thought that was a pretty neat combination.

Those tall wagons–insert your favorite Japanese OE–very much were ahead of their time.
I had one of these when they were new. It served our needs well and was dependable. Upholstery looked good but the tops of the rear seats had deteriorated pretty badly after 3-4 years. They looked alright but had gotten really fragile, almost like the fabric had rotted.
Who do we need to contact at Honda to offer seats like that as an optional package or something?
It doesn't even need to be a Civic Type R, I'd gladly take those seats in a regular Civic or a CR-V.
So maybe something like this. A rough sketch/photoshop, but I think it gets the point across:

With more manufacturers moving to more sustainable interiors hopefully cloth seats/inserts will make a comeback.

My dad bought one new in 1984. That was a cool little car. I think C&D called it a "closet sports car".
I'd love to have it and am tempted, but Living where I do, I wouldn't own that car for the same reason that I wouldn't own a Fox body Mustang or SC300/400. Theft magnets. Yeah it's kinda homely, but anything rare and Honda....
