Nearly everything I've read on the boards here supports the advice of this thread.
I've also seen several E36 coupes on my local CL, but of the running ones, most had super highish miles....like nearly 200K. I even saw 1 or 2 in the last month that would make decent Challenge starters...but had probs getting my computer to post the CL ads.
318tis are almost nonexistent in my neck of the woods...at least on CL. I should probably expand my search to better areas?
Actually, the cars that started this were a E36 convertible (these are fairly plentiful here, but with the six) and a 1996 Z3. The Z3 is/was a very low mileage one...but aren't these first year Zs a little down on the quality scale, at least compared to later ones?
