If we are talking about cars that we already own...

1987 CSX:

-Painted all black (no two tone) with new Shelby graphics, and no more rust!

-Built SRT4 2.4L motor with a front mount intercooler

-SRT4 Seats

-Box flares? Maybe...

1979 Trans Am:

-Fully restored body with all the birds and everything

-17x9 Year One snowflake wheels (a bigger version of my stock 15x8 wheels)

-Fully upgraded brakes and suspension

-Restored interior with 04-06 GTO seats

-A 6.6L LS-based V8 with twin turbos

1997 Dodge Dakota:

-Fully restored body (noticing a theme here?)

-New 392 Hemi under the hood

-Some cooler wheels

-Rhino liner in the bed

I have a hunkering for a 65 Cadillac convertible, big block and manual trans. do the suspension and make it handle. I would love the look on someones face once you hooked up and took off.

I am currently lusting after replica one of these. Occasionally ones with blown motors or serious cosmetic issues pop up for around 10K.

+2.7 motor + freeway gearing + good seats and a decent cage.

I drive by two dead late 70's Camaro's every day driving the kids to school. They're the older ones with skinny tires that don't really look sporty. However, with a little squinting I can easily imagine that those skinny tires are really rally tires. A rally Camaro would be totally bitchin'. Bright red, do it up with a fire chicken on the hood. Grow out a mullet and travel around the country being awesome on stage.

If we're talking dream builds and not necessarily affordable ones, I'm totally building a Hawk Stratos.

This one is pretty nice...I'd like one a little more ratty, some battle scars, stock-looking body but 8-second time slips.

LMAO! I bottom out with the stock suspension on my Trans Am on everything, so plan on raising it up somehow.

There was a goat sleeping under one of them last week. Granted, it was a small goat, but if you can fit a goat under the car then the possibility is there. I'm not saying there wouldn't be issues, but overcoming them would be part of the fun.

There used to be this beautiful white fox hatch that raced at Gandy in Tampa. Looked stone stock with 10.5" drag radials on white pony wheels, custom cage built so that it was almost touching the interior walls of the car. Had covered the padding with cloth that matched the interior, man it was sick. Suspension that worked, I want to say it had a 1" cowl hood on it, it was really subtle. Dang thing would lift the front wheels on launch.

If I can buy it, There is a 72 240 with a GTU body kit tucked away in a garage just around the corner from my house.

Every time I see it while running, I just think man I need that car and it needs to have a 302 in it. Now just need to get him to sell it. :)
