B&D Cordless Impact Drill/Driver. For home remodeling, I use it more than anything.
Dewalt Hand saw.
It's nothing fancy, but I replaced my old hand saw that was 15 years old, had a billion miles on it, and had never been sharpened. What a difference a sharp saw makes!!!!
Gear Wrench, flex head, 11mm and 14mm.
I think I can swap the motor on an 88-91 Civic with these two wrenches.
My chainsaw. I love that thing. I'm hoping to get property so I have an excuse to get a bigger one. I sometimes use it instead of my circular saw to cut lumber just for the pure joy of firing it up.
My favorite tool is my Armstrong rachet. I got it off Woot and it is just great. Made in the US. I need to get 1/2" version.
My Gearwrench ratchets are my favorite. Feel great in the hand, take abuse, and i use them constantly.
It changes almost daily, because I really don't like tools at all. But right now if I had to pick, I'd say this guy at work named Neal. He's a real tool.
Mine is a Stanley No. 5 Plane. Found it at a antique shop with a bit of surface rust and a dull blade. I buffed it with a scotch pad and some Johnson Paste Wax, gave my dad the blade to get it back to being sharp, and now I'm planning rough boards by hand. Who knew you don't need hundreds of dollars in power tools to smooth a board? 
Similar to the OP, I got the same Craftsman flex head 3/8" ratchet for my birthday last year and find my self grabbing it before any of my other ratchets.
I own, 3 cordless drills, and 1 120V drill. A Craftsman 18V, a Craftsman 10.8V, a Dewalt 18V, and the 120V 1/2" drill is a Craftsman. I haven't gotten the Craftsman cordless drills out of their cases in YEARS, and the 120V only comes out if I'm doing something that needs a big drill. I love my Dewalt drill!
Simillarly I have a Dewalt 18V cordless reciprocating "saws-all" and a Ryobi 120V reciprocating saw, I don't remember the last time I got the Ryobi out.
For Christmas this past year SWMBO out did herself, I got a Miller 211 Auto Set, it combined with the Miller Digital Elite hood I bought are my current favorite tools.

Another one that just dawned on me. My simple little work stool, got it for my birthday last year too. I'm scooting around on it all the time. Before I either stood, stooped, or sat way down low on my creeper. I didn't know what I was missing, way less fatigue thanks to the little stool.

Toothless!!! Yep NO ratcheting mechanism... I've had a set for about 10 years...
I'm going to have to go with whichever tool I need for the current job or all of them, take your pick.
That low profile impact posted above looks like it could be real handy, there might be one of them on the way before the end of the day. I love tools more than any hobby I have ever tried.

It's a slightly silly luxury item, but my Milwaukee 3/8" lithium ion cordless ratchet is a marvelous thing. Goes all day on a charge, compact enough that I can use it on >80% of fasteners, and has put up with a hell of a lot of abuse (ie, breaking lug bolts free manually, dropping it from 5 feet up onto concrete, etc).

She got me this for Xmas. I've used it soooooooo many times now, more than any other tool. (I have a bit of a flashlight fetish though.)

A couple months ago I picked up a Milwaukee 1/2" brushless 18v battery drill. This drill is great. Batteries last forever and tons of torque. I just wish it was a hammer drill.
4ish lb cross peen. Solved all my problems for years, from stuck bolts to liars and cheats.

Mostly because the lighting in my garage is terrible. Wife bought it for me as a Christmas gift. I thought it was gonna be junk, but I ended up using it all the time
