You need 3 cars that cover:
- 3 continents
- 3 engine configs (inline, v, boxer)
- 3 different cylinder counts
- FWD, RWD, AWD
So... Mustang GT, 911 turbo, Integra?
Ford x2 (1 gas, one diesel)
Mazda x3 (1 rotary, 2 piston)
Lexus x2
Volvo x3
Toyota x2
Alfa x1
Saab x1
Datsun x1
four cars, three manufactorers:
Fiat: Classic 124 Spider and 500 Abarth
Saab: Classic 900 Turbo
Land Rover: Discovery 2
5 Fords, yeah I need to branch out... But!
1 V8, 1 V6, 2, 4cyl, 1, 3 cyl!
2 turbos
2 6 speed sticks, 2 6 speed auto, 1 4 speed auto.
Newest, 2 x 2017
Oldest, 2006
Largest engine displacement, 5 liters. Smallest engine displacement, 1 liter.
Each a different manufacturer.
1-Toyota
1-Honda
1-Mazda
1-Opel
1-MG
Not as many as some of you but enough for me.
Current:
1 Saab
1 Chrysler minivan
1 BMW
But that's not fun, so historically:
2 Oldsmobiles
3 Chevrolets
5 Hondas
2 Cadillacs
1 GMC
3 Fords
1 Pontiac
2 Chryslers
2 Saabs
1 Dodge
1 BMW
1 Nissan
1 Plymouth
1 Mazda
I only ever had up to 5 at one time though
Cupboard is a bit bare at the moment:
Focus Diesel, Ford Germany
Fiesta Petrol, Ford Thailand
Yamaha TY (Japan)
Vertigo (Spain)
and a homemade Trailer...
At peak stupidity only a few years back:
2 x Ford Sierra XR4x4 (Ford Germany)
VW Polo (Spain)
Mazda B2600 (Thailand)
2 x Gas Gas (Spain)
Yamaha TY (Japan)
Current:
02 Elantra
15 Fiesta ST
21 Explorer ST
17 Duramax Colorado
Goners:
05 Explorer
15 Edge Sport
02 Elantra
05 Mustang
89 Mustang
92 Typhoon
02 Lightning
99 Explorer
96 Grand Cherokee
Just three cars that cover all-, rear- and front-wheel drive featuring four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines?
I can pick combos of that out of what i own but it doesn't feel particularly special.. i really struggle to find a newer version of what we used to call the trifecta around here.

You need 3 cars that cover:
- 3 continents
- 3 engine configs (inline, v, boxer)
- 3 different cylinder counts
- FWD, RWD, AWD
So... Mustang GT, 911 turbo, Integra?
Subaru, AWD, boxer 4
Porsche, RWD, boxer 6
Camaro, RWD, V8
That's pretty close. All are manual trans though. Maybe the trifecta is one manual, one slush box and one PDK.....
2 Subarus
1 Rover (a 2000TC sedan, not a SUV)
1 BMW E30.
I've got Britain, Japan and Germany covered. AWD and RWD, no FWD cars at the moment. Boxer 4s and inline 4s. The Rover has all the mechanical uniqueness... horizontal front coil springs, a heron-head SOHC engine (cylinder head is perfectly flat, combustion chambers in the pistons) and a modified DeDion rear end where the rear hubs are linked with a tube with a telescoping joint so they maintain zero camber. Name another car with that combo, I'll wait.
Let's see. How about 5 cars/3 manufacturers?
1) 2013 Ford Focus SE sedan 5 spd manual
2) 2012 Toyota Highlander AWD Limited
3) 1987 Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S 5 spd manual
4) 2005 Toyota Camry LE 4 cyl auto (it was my mom's)
5) 2019 Honda Civic Type R
I have 5 vehicles from 3 manufacturers.
3 Chevrolet
1 Dodge/Chrysler (depends which side of the border)
1 BMW tho it is powered by a Chevrolet engine.
Three v8's, one 4 cylinder (inline), one v6 with turbo.
8/6
1 Mazda (2001 Miata)
1 Chevrolet (2010 Tioga Motorhome, Express 3500 chassis)
2 Hyundai (2018 Santa Fe, 2018 Elantra GT Sport)
1 MG (78 Midget + 13B + Miata Uprights)
1 Willys (54 Pickup, on 1994 Chevy Blazer Chassis)
2 Subaru (2002 WRX, 1962? 360)
1 V8, 2 V6, 1 I4 T, 1 H4 T, 1 H4, 1 I4, 1 Rotary
22.6L

I love coming here when I think or people tell me, that I have too many vehicles!!
Including the wife's car, there are four in the fleet, and they are all different:
1 Pontiac
1 Dodge
1 Mazda
1 Kia
Fun facts:
-Combined age on all of those is 88 years!
-All are different colors (silver, blue, white, and black)
-All are N/A except the Kia, and that's the only one with a manual transmission
-They technically all run (yes, even the Trans Am)
-All are technically different drivetrain-wise (RWD, Full-Time 4WD, AWD, and FWD)
BONUS:
1 Predator-Swapped Baja Racer Minibike Deathtrap
