So I have a Yugo scrapbook from my brothers and my build. I have a Yugo T-shirt. I get excted when i see a Yugo everynow and then (its rare). I get like a kid does on Christmas when i see on in a movie or online.
I MISS MY YUGO. A LOT!
I want another.
What should I do? How can i cope with not having one?
Such good times buiding it up, breaking it, fixing it. Good times with my brother.
I just miss it
Ok.
Thanks for tuning in

Yugos will do that to you, I miss mine most days as well. I got out of autocross but if I had the chance to have that car again or build another like it I would probably go back. It wasnt the fastest or most competitive car I had but it was the most fun.
What to do, what to do....

Find another....start building :)
I know where there is a Yugo in Redwood City California. I don't know if it is for sale, but it looks like it is in good shape and isn't going anywhere.

As much as I love Yugo's and will buy one the moment it pops up near me I say...."You have already had one. Take the opportunity to find the same car in its earlier more attractive italian body"
Fiat 128's are soo awesome!! There is a 128 Sport Coupe for sale near me but I am holding out for the 2dr Berlina.

128's are indeed awesome, but wasn't the Yugo based on the Fiat 127?
ooooo.... where is a 128 SL coupe'? I would love to have one of those or a 3p.
Ih only fiat had imported the 2 door strada
Where is SVrex on this one? This is his; hoping he won't mind if I post it. He actually let me "take it for a spin" at an autocross one time. Very high smiles per gallon!
P.S. That's my Neon in the right background.

That's my old one that I miss soo much, and SVreX is the new good owner who has taken it to the next level.
As for 128SL's I did that too :)
I'd take one of those as well for sure.

I didnt think so but I could be wrong. 127's used the 850 family of small displacement motors with transverse leaf rear ends. I thought the Yugo used the 128/X19 stuff.

That thing is wicked! I need to find me some old Italian goodness. There is a 131S in town that looks in decent shape but it's not exactly the nicest looking fiat around.
yes.. but decked out in like an abarth..

ooo!! I would so rock that, but it is a sedan and I don't imagine those abarth bits are easy to come by.
Bayless down in Georga used to have the glass bits to turn a 131 coupe' into an abarth replica
What no love for the mid-engined version of your dear Yugo? Check out X-1/9's for something a little different
