I am picking up a freebie set of factory bmw 18's off a long ago totalled Z4 today, I was just wondering if anyone knew the specs on the wheels. Width, offset, backspacing, etc.....I am just trying to figure out if they'll fit on my e36 ti.

They're from an, IIRC, 05 Z4 3.0L roadster.

If I was you, I would call Tire Rack and ask. I am sure they can help you with that.

yamaha,

It is a big "maybe" on E36 cars. On E46s, some guys run Z4 wheels on the coupes, but the offset is generally deemed to be too aggressive for the sedans. I'd think they might be too much for an E36 ti. I would have to see a pic to give you wheel specs, they are probably 18x7.5 in front and 18x8.5 in rear with a 45mm offset or so. Or...

Find the Z4 in question, find the wheel style you have, and in the part description the width and offset is listed.

Measure them once you pick them up, if they don't fit, sell them.

Chances are the width and offset numbers are cast into the back side of the wheel, or go to realoem.com and look it up. There were several different style wheels available on those cars, but it appears they were 8x18 w/offset of 47 and 8.5x18 w/offset of 50.

Um, with the 23mm spacers and rolled to hell and back fenders, they berkeleying FIT!!!!!!

For E36 M3s and giggles, we put the REAR fitment 8.5" with 255 tires on the front......slight rubbing of the back of the inner fenderwell. The 18x8 with 225/40 tires fit without a problem. BERKLEY YEAH!!!!!!

Also, I didn't have to raise the car from its previous state of berkeleying low. My friend who built the car did a hell of a job rolling the fenders with a baseball bat.
