Now that Im getting the parts for the clutch, front pads/rotors, and front springs... one of the rear springs breaks (from what it sounds like.) The front springs will be Eibach Pros and I dont want the rear to be progressive. I will be replacing the rear strut bar with a wagon's, but I don't want to use the springs because they are 0.40 inches higher and the front will be 1.5 or so lower than it is now. What should I do to the rear while keeping it low budget? This is my DD.
Come one Escort guys, I know you're there.

Herb Adams (in "Chassis Engineering:...") sez cut your own springs. Since you already seem to own the wagon springs, cut a coil and try them. What do you have to lose but an afternoon of time?
Good idea, but I don't own wagon springs. I could always stick with stock, but what's the fun in that?
Run away from the Eibach Pros unless the roads in your area are super smooth.
What are you doing with the car? DD, Autox, Rallyx? Stock springs all around have worked fine for me in all of these categories.
If you have to go lower, I'd look at the Megan springs or cutting half a coil off the stock springs.
And get some fresh Ford Motorsport Struts while you're messing with the springs, they're only $200 for the whole set.

What he said. I used his old Eibach pros for about... 2 weeks. They were that bad i couldn't stand it anymore. Switched to Megans. (Can be had for $140 shipped on Ebay.)
Megans + S/Rs = the best $340 you'll ever spend on suspension.
Hah. Let me upload a picture of the E36 M3 I have to drive on. Paved cobblestone. I got the pros for 50 bucks, so I'm just giving them a try. Guess ill have to buy rears, so hopefully I can find a salvaged sr and snag the springs from it (front and back I guess). My spare cash is going to my nissan. The Zx2 will pretty much be a DD, but I may bring it to an auto-x. Being short on cash, 3 of my vehicles need "a little work."
Celica, the car you are getting rid of, I know it had some escort parts in it (or maybe what you are using.) Are the springs a match?

The car i'm getting rid of is an MX3, all stock.
I've got Megan Springs on the Escort that are going away, and they're actually ZX2 fitment. There's two people already in line for them, though.
I've got a set of Tokico HPs on the car that could go away for cheap... i'd have to make sure they aren't blown first, though. I'm assuming they're blown, but might be pleasantly surprised.
Ill trade you some front Eibach Pros. Let me know how things turn out and then we talk.
Lol DO NOT WANT.
Konis and Ground Controls are going on.
I will let you know when the Escort starts coming apart.
Your Escorts disassembly makes me happy.
