It's wild what the old bikes are going for.  I appreciate it as so few are likely left.

I paid $1200 for this one; a friend sold it to me. It's worth double that.

I may buy a Redline MXII this summer; I've budgeted $3500 for it.

I'm not up on current values, but that seems a bit steep for what was on the lower end of Diamondback's freestyle bikes for that year.

The market is chock full of speculation and flippers right now. Much like just about any hobby outside of getting punched in the dick, there's not room for regular folk. Prices are absolutely wild.

My BMX bicycle back in middle school was a Kent. It was red with a yellow Kent sticker on it. Only a few kids had high end type of bikes. The one I remember the most had a Redline (1982-84) and he would beat the Berkley out of it trying to break it. I never heard of him succeeding in doing it.
