What octane do you run in this ....and are you still going back to stock pipes?
I kinda like the exhaust now. Just been running regular 87. Should have a more accurate mpg average on this next tank, now that it's finally running right.

Congratulations on getting it running better. Check your specs on fuel. I always ran premium in every one of my motorcycles. The engines are usually High Compression. YMMV.
It's rated for regular and seems to love the stuff. Finally returned to the N. GA mountains. This thing is a dream on the highway. Loving the way it runs now. And it did 37 mpg including a few days of commuting and a long morning of twisties. Maybe I will keep it.
I tried like crazy to talk my dad into one of these vs a new goldwing in the 90's. They have kinda dropped off my radar, but dang that makes me want one again. Nice work on bringing her back up to snuff.
And it's sold. Just never really bonded with it or took it touring. Someone else will appreciate it more than me.
