My better half has been wanting to build a supermoto for a while and she has test rode a few bikes and absolutely fell in love with the late 250L after test riding one my buddy has. Fast forward less than a week later and a 2 hour drive and this is what we are doing.

2018 crf250L, 500 miles on it.

Came with some key goodies she was wanting.

Yoshimura rs4s, skid plate, radiator guard, zeta hand guards, and a box of 10 oil filters, drain plug gaskets, and oil filter cover gaskets.

She rode it around for a few minutes yesterday and absolutely loves it. Round 1 of parts are ordered for it.

I'm all about this idea.

How long till she gets the front wheel up?

A friend of mine is desperately trying to sell me his 2014 CRF250L. I don't need to read this thread....

The amount of shopping she did before the purchase was impressive. Honestly it's an absolutely fantastic bike to ride around on so far.

If the price is right I would really consider buying a second one.

Hot damn that color scheme works.

It could also look really fun stickerbombed, but I like the clean look.

Per your recommendation I started playing with the Warp9 wheel builder. I should probably just ride it for a bit first and then get wheels... Probably.

I mean, a set of supermoto wheels really changes the bike.

Got mad and made a nice adjustable kickstand. Don't have many pics of the process since I was at work, but basically a rod inside a tube.

Also disabled kickstand switch.

Awesome. I've got a 2020 250L, and SWMBO has pretty much 100% claimed it. I'd love to try a 300L, they basically fixed every little complaint I could have against it.

The white plastics and supermoto wheels look amazing on yours!

In reply to Run_Away :

There was a huge discussion between a 250l and a 300l and after she rode both she decided the difference was minimal enough it was worth the saved dollars to put back into the bike.

I really have been eyeing a 250l/300l for myself also, and I hate that for me.

Now for this round of "Where's Brap?" I was going to yell out "Somerset!" then I scrolled to the bottom of the pic and there it was anyway.

Wait, wait, wait... the guy bought 10 oil filters and then only rode the bike 500 miles in five years?

Absolutely. 10 oil filters, oil filter gaskets and drain plug gaskets. I'm also 100% that person, order a few at a time but 10 is kinda steep imo.

That is correct. This particular building has been here a while. It's around the north shore boat ramp, they have been going renovation nuts in this area.
