I think I want this. There's not a lot of info in the ad, but the two pics look good. I messaged the seller about miles and some condition info. Not sure if it's even still actively for sale. What's your opinion and what do you know about the 1100 oil heads? Most of what I've read looks good, but they are 30 year old bikes now. ...but I love my 50 year old BMW still.
1100 oil heads are generally fine when looked after, like all BMWs. This one is a bit red flag-ish to me.
It might be a bargain if you know these bikes reasonably well, but it might be a pile of poo in search of a toilet.
I also am not a huge fan of the ergonomics of the R1100RS, but that is obviously very personal.

Good points. The note about water getting into the tank, "got in a trade" and "runs well" & "could use a tune up" make me wonder if it's worth it. So far, no reply from the seller. I think that I will like the ergonomics of it. I like the Ninja 250 I have and I think that this can be adjusted to a similar riding position.
