A funny quote I remember from these forums is that "kids buy sportbikes, stick brooms on their helmets and think they are gods." (or something along those lines). The imagery was very funny.
Well the other day I saw a guy on an orange sportbike (think it was an R6) with matching gear with a very professional-looking orange Centurion crest on his helmet. Please say they are not making these. I haven't been able to find any pics online, which is a good sign, but to aid your imagination:

I've seen them in the motorcycle magazines - it's an accessory you glue on your existing helmet. There are a few variations, I think there's also a Mohawk.
safer than the nazi spikes chopper guys put on their brain buckets
I've seen those going around town before. Scary thing was that it was some fat 40-something on a Harley.
If I had a open top car for auto-x I would consider doing one as a joke. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)

I think the picklehaube pre-dates the Nazis.

Yeah, they've made those for several years now. Helmet mohawks.
I like 'em. Easy to spot the morons with a quick glance that way.

Mebbe I was being too harsh. My gut reaction is to associate these with squiddom, since that's where they started - much like the 'furred-out' craze a while ago. Like furry bikes, they've since descended into the realm of the silly. And there's nothing wrong with silly, when undertaken with the right spirit.
no no... I agree... they are right under going with no lid as far as squiddom...
the furr look I understand also... at least for stunters... which again I take as a certain sign of squiddom... talented squids in some cases but a squid all the same
Centurion's crests were set up running East-West.
A legionnaire's ran North-South like shown.
The more you know!
