I need to get a set of forks rebuilt and as much I have done this myself before, this time I want to just ship them out and have someone else do the work. They need seals and fluid. Nothing fancy, 2000 Yamaha R1.

Does anyone know a reputable place to send these to? Google shows a few places but the websites are not the best and I really want my shocks back.

Thanks.

You're on the east coast right?  I know a guy here in Tampa that does all of our dirt bikes and he's done a few harley front ends for me.  I can ask what his availability is.   The only issue some have with him is he doesn't want your bike.....just the shocks and front-end.

Any local motorcycle shop should be able to do that for you.  If you have to ship them it's probably quicker to rebuild them yourself than it is to pack them up and unpack them on return.

Yes, there has to be some Yamaha dealers in your area with mechanics on duty.  Replacing the seals shouldn't be a big deal for them.

I have a guy but he's clear on the other side of the continent. Lemme know if you can't find anyone but shipping and all that is gonna be a pain...
