Bought this last year. Did some work thinking I would restore it (ex: repaired/painted the upper fairing) but find it’s just too small/cramped to ride comfortably. I’m 6’2” with long legs. Also, selling b/c I paid to have the upper restored and painted. The paint, while beautiful, is a few shades too cool to match the rest of the bike. Super discouraging. Do I repaint the upper or match the remaining fairing/plastics to match the upper? The red turned out beautifully.
Runs and rides well. Needs some love, but nothing major — rear tire, tune-up, some suspension work (rear shocks are too soft for my weight — 225), and a good cleaning/some fiddling. Comes with some spares and Krausers. Not a show bike but a good looking rider. I’d fly and ride this anywhere. 66k miles. 3rd (ish) owner. PO had owned it for years.
