In reply to Nick (Bo) Comstock: King's X on that.....at least you're not living near Lubbock.
Bike I am building for my wife. Goal is to have it done by mid-August for the Cleveland Mods & Rockers event.
XS400 Brat Scrambler thing.
Build thread at: XS400
I picked up a new-to-me bike yesterday...one I have been dreaming about for a little while now, an Aprilia SXV550!
I know, I know...they are unreliable. I know, I know...your cousin's roommate's ex-wife's uncle had one he only rode thee times and the engine blew up seventeen times over those three rides. I know, I know, someone on the internet once commented that the maintenance is so intensive it isn't worth it.....and I STILL WENT THERE!
Like any Italian exotic it isn't an everyday ride, and she seems to prefer it fast and delicate to slow and deliberate, but I'm certain I'm better for the experience!
It is stupid-fast....and the sound, oh, the sound of that little V-twin!

I don't know what the internet says about Hypermotards, but I want one. Good job!

I obviously don't know either, because I bought one used. Thanks for the props, and FWIW, I have no regrets so far...highly recommended for any seasoned motorcyclist with a desire for thought->instant action performance, as long as said rider also has a good dose of reason.
Since my photobucket accounts is gone and all the pictures of the Sporty went with it I thought I would make a little slide show video.

Thought I was going crazy... glad it's not just me!
Today was one of those days where I felt like I could just ride forever. If I only had the gas money.
From the side of the road somewhere in Texas.

Do you do work for Turner?
No. Their home shop is 10 minutes from home though and I know most of the people there.

I've seen a couple of posts/shares on Facebook, so I do believe he is alive. ;)
