Record time for me anyway. All in about 4 hours, which is 1/4 the time it took me for my back tire. This includes only breaking the bead off one side before beginning removal, then having to watch the 5 minute video on how to break the beads with 3 tire irons to break the other side, once the tire was off I then put the new tire half on before I realized it was the wrong rotation, so taking that back off was another 1/2 an hour. One top tip I learned is to make four or five 1x2x2 wood blocks to hold the bead down while you install the new tire. I had those for free instead of buying the tire hold down pieces you can get anywhere for 15 to 35 dollars. Im confident the next tire will be on in about 2 hours after relearning a few things that had slipped my mind from last time. I got 10,000 miles out of the front and was impressed with its handling for a sport touring tire.
Shameless plug-I am selling a new Dunlop Roadsmart 4 180/55/17 rear tire listed in parts for sale on this forum for $150 shipped anywhere in the continental US. Date code from 2021 and I wont be using my current rear tire fast enough to make use of it. Since its GRM, make me a decent offer and its yours. Tire
