Let's start with part one of pile of parts.

Carbs are good, new fuel like and filter, plugs, oil changed

One caliper was frozen solid, needed the grease gun treatment, other came apart with air. Ended up using a brembo rcs19 master cylinder I got in a big parts buy for the front since the factory master is cracked. Rear brake got fresh fluid and is good to go. Had to order a bracket for the brake fluid reservoir since I can't find mine.

Mounting the front tire.

Shifter

Did a chain and sprocket since the OEM chain was shedding oring dust, did a 15/47.

Took the cluster apart to fix speedo needle.

Also some of the small stuff I have fixed was a clutch cover oring, missing hardwear, and some grab handle delete plugs.

That hose running from the front rezzi to the master cylinder looks huge. I guess that wouldn't hurt performance or feel though. Good looking lever.

In reply to GCrites :

Correct size hose (I think, it's what came with it) way to long, this is a temporary fix so I could cause some mayham on my birthday.

Here is some 3rd gear limiter burnout action to kill the 23 year old rear tire.

Told the boys that it would either, blow up, overheat, or explode the tire. Well we exploded the tire and had a fire. So that's a win in my book.

There was so much fluid in the hose before that you almost want to pour it back in the bottle! I am nearly that cheap

I did reuse it to bleed the rear brake. It seems to work pretty good after a bleed.

New used mosfet regular/rectifer to help save the stator.

Another successful ride.

Plus a smoked plate found during rear end disassembly.

Also got after it a little and got it leaned over.

So ended up with a ohlins rear shock......

Its not the final install more of a make sure it will fit/figure out where I'm mounting the reservoir.

It's also coming out again for a rebuild.

Was thinking somewhere where I got it zip ties or go super fancy and put it under the pillion seat by the cdi box.

Been a while, got way to many irons in the fire.

Rear suspension: cleaned and greased swing arm bearings, ohlins got new seals and fresh fluid and a recharge, and setup for my weight.

Forks: powder coated lowers, 0.90 kg/mm racetech springs, gold valve emulators, bushings, seals, 15w oil.

I can't get over how well it rides now.
