16 hours in that temp.. better bring a sweatshirt. Everybody starts to get cold

Between the 5th and 6th year high school seniors and their cronies out of school with nothing to do and the stifling heat, my neighborhood gets "interesting" in the summertime. My buddy's got it worse, being across the street from a recently-raided and shut down crack/meth house and being on the designated route of some incredibly low-tier hookers.

But honestly, I get more trouble from the suburban tourists that come from far and wide into my part of the city for things like Mardi Gras and leave any modicum of respect and decency back in their subdivisions. Entitled 40something year-old douchecanoes acting like my neighborhood is the back yard of their state school frat house and thinking they can still hold their liquor like they're 20 years old - it's basically like babysitting, except I get to use a baseball bat for punctuation.
