I used to have quite the collection decades ago that started when I worked at KB*Toys. I would use the employee discount to get the coolest Bburago and Maisto exotics that I pulled from the cases and I had them displayed all over. I got really into Ferrari's (it was the Schumacher in F1 era after all) and managed to pick up some really rare ones when I was overseas. Quite a few years ago now I sold that collection off, but I do still have a healthy collection of 1:18 scale, they are just all AMC's. Mostly AMX's (and by no means complete) along with all three Rebel Machines that were made. I do have all the S/S AMX's, including the newest Drag-On-Lady.
I do wish that Auto World would make a 70 AMX at least, though I would lose my mind for a good Javelin casting of any year. I'm trying not to have too many of these as they take up a lot of space, but I do really like them...
I have a decent little collection, though its all boxed up.
Some musclecar stuff, some sportscar stuff. Cobra, Cobra Daytona, GT40 (gulf), Lotus Elite, Corvette Grand Sport, etc.
Eventually I want to make a case to display them in my shop.
I've got a bunch of Bburago models from when I was in high school, including a 250 GTO. All of mine are European plus a first-gen RX7.

Back when I had a collection like that I had shelving all around my home office with the cars displayed on them. Dusting was a pain! Now I have acrylic wall cases for my models and small die-casts, and I would definitely go that way for the 1:18 stuff again. I plan on getting a big one and mounting it in the garage for wall art.

I've probably got close to 100 1:18 scale diecasts stored in my basement. I bought a ton of them when I worked for a company that sold them on the internet. Lately I've been thinking about selling them. should I post them up here on this site or ebay?
Man, they're all still packed away after my move three years ago. The RX-7 is actually a bit smaller, I suspect it's this 1/24 kit. It's got that big tea tray rear spoiler.
I did some things to them when I was in high school. The Mercedes SEC has been turned into a rally car and covered in dirt splatter. So was the Series Land Rover. The 250 GTO was my baby, I think I painted the instrument markings and everything. I'll dig them out.
I have a few - I think I bought some you were selling a few years ago. Unfortunately, all of them are packed away in my attic as I don't have any way to display them. Hopefully that will be rectified after the house renovation. I still browse the vendors at car shows, but I have managed to avoid adding any new ones in awhile.
I have a few, including this Autoart M535i which is a replica of my real car.

I have 4 AutoArt Models. A Lotus 7, Lotus Elan, Lancia Fulvia, and MR2 Spyder. You used to be able to buy an AutoArt Model for around $120 and I'd ask for them for my birthday. These days they seem to be mostly in the $200 dollar range or above. That is outside of my comfort zone unless it was just a car I really needed. I have a much larger collection of 1:43 scale stuff, mostly european and russian. Lately I've been concentrating on the Tomica Limited Vintage 1:64th scale cars.

No, they didn't base it on my personal car, but I do own and drive a M535i in the same color (partially shown in my avatar.)
I have about 7-8 Franklin Mint Corvettes in 1:24 scale.
One of my best friends is a big time collector focusing on 1:18 and 1:12 scale. He actually runs a YouTube channel devoted to them, and recently made a quick video showing his entire collection:
He has been a bad influence on me. I'll take some pics of mine later.
Most of my older/cheaper one's ended up getting played with by the kids. Fortunately, that did not included the Autoart E30 M3 touring car, my wife bought me. It's the same as the picture below:
There may be some subtilty to it that I'm missing, but similar examples seem to be trading for $400-600 these days!
