Its a bit finnicky, and getting pretty old (1985) and hard to find parts. When it works, the boat runs about 90mph, and sounds like a Nascar engine at idle.

Didn't Cushman us OMC motors hooked up to RWD Chevy bolt pattern transmissions in the trucksters? I know that some boat 2-stroke motors can be fitted into vehicles using that bell but the details escape me.
The boat is a 21' Eliminator Daytona, a modified tunnel hull from California. Its fiberglass with a balsa cored running surface.
