Grandson's Toureg was recently totaled - not his fault.  He has decided that the Touregs are "an old lady car" and now wants a 4-door sedan.

I located a 2010 Mazda 6 i Sport (i Touring?) with 91K miles for just under $10K.  2.5L engine.

Grandson will likely be leaving our small town after graduation this year to attend college.  He wants a sedan.  I want reliable as an anvil, since if it breaks, I will have to go somewhere to fix it.

What is the hive's opinion?

I have a 12. Same car.

Reliable as gravity so far. I bought mine with 100k from a repo man, found crack in it and had the drug dogs sniff it.

I KNOW that it wasn't maintained with that beginning to my ownership.

It has 160 on it now, oil changes, brakes, tires, and tune up. Thats it.

The headlights are absolutely berkeleying miserable, and should be considered as useless. It may be me, but my zippo works better in the rain.

Its a California car, so doesn't look like it would be included in the recall.  Thanks for the heads up
