$790 after the 10% extra for getting it all back in Amazon gift cards.
That's a joke. Right?
Nope. H&R is offering 10% more refund if you purchase some gift cards with your refund. SO say you get $500 back, they will "give" you $550 for purchasing the gift cards.
We filed on the 28th (gotta love employers who try to get the w2's out) and had our refund on the 10th.
Having four kids and a mortgage helps in that dept.
File early and avoid the rush.

Our rather hefty refund is going into our 'new house down payment' fund. Also my wife dialed her withholdings down. With a possible addition to our family this year our refund should be larger next year. I'll probably change my withholdings next year too.
Still have not received one W2. The HR department is no longer answering the phone when I call. So frustrating, I want to get this done already.

Nail them to a wall, I was under the impression they legally were required to send them out in January.
That was my understanding too, that they have to be postmarked by Jan 31st. Not sure how to go about nailing them, do I contact the Attorney General's office?
After getting ours i started looking for a truck, added a grand too what i had saved. After being dissapointed via craigslist i gave up on the unicorn and spent about 1/3rd of my budget on a local truck. Now my wife claims the money leftover gets used for furniture and not v8 parts for the wagon.
