Just got back from the third post office of the day. It's shipped, finally, but I had to use the automated thing and I don't know how much I trust it. It claims Thursday delivery, I'll post the tracking number when it says delivered(i don't know who's getting it so I don't want to ruin the surprise)
Who's brilliant idea is it for a post office to close for lunch from 12 to 1, you know, the time almostEVERY business gives for lunch hour?
Mine's awaiting pickup right now. Tried going to the post office on my lunch break, but the line was out the door. Then I realized that we have a pickup service at work. Derp!
I've got to pick up a box and get started on this. I totally joined on a whim, so I've got no prep done. So...I'm right in line with my normal course of action.

My medium had 70# in the US and 20# international printed on the box. Not sure if you can get 70# in that box unless it's uranium...
My box is loaded and addressed. Should get picked up tomorrow at the office...
I stood in line for 45 minutes, but the package is on it's way.
Now that things are far easier to get to in the garage I hope to get mine together over the next few days and off before we leave for SWMBO's family's place in WI for the holidays. I've already got together the 'non-random' things, just have to collect random crap from the garage and stuff it all in a box. Hopefully I can use the print-your-own-postage capability and have it picked up with our office mail so I don't have to deal with the post office.
Just got a notification that mine got picked up. Hopefully it makes it to it's intended destination before Xmas! 
Mine went out today. It is truly a box of random crap from my shop. Some entertaining. Some pointless.
on an completely unrelated note....how strict is USPS on searching flat rate boxes for hazardous materials?

Unless something leaks through, they really don't care what's in the boxes.
I just checked. The estimated delivery date for mine is tomorrow 
(I'll have some explaining to do to my giftee, me thinks)

Dropped the box off yesterday. Happy about the self-serve kiosk instead of the huge line
Package away...off to Kentucky. The line at the USPS wasn't even all that bad.
Stopping to send mine on the way home tonight...should make it by Christmas, given the distance.
