It's weird. Hockey in August? That's 2020 for you. Luckily, you can catch the games on TV if you remember that they're happening, considering it's high summer and all.
The 'Canes managed to sweep the Rangers. I'd missed the first two games but caught this one. I'm glad to see they're playing well.
As a huge Islanders fan I'd like to say "Thanks, Carolina!"
Hopefully tomorrow morning the Isles will finish the sweep on Florida.

I was wondering about that one- didn't stay up to watch the whole thing.
While it's odd to watch hockey in August- I'm enjoying it.
Now I'm hoping that the very outplayed Canadians can actually beat the Pens. So far, the rest is just enterainment.
Interesting format- at least all the teams get to play some hockey before the real tournament start. But I do hope they run through this quickly. There are no real travel delays, and the only real breaks is so that the teams can recover from tough games.
Working from home does allow me to watch hockey almost all day long... :)
