I think Bill is blacklisted in the NFL, if you look at NFL HC coaches most of them just coach, and ownership and GM make the rest of the decisions. Bill was the CEO of the patriots and wasn't afraid to take on ownership, that style and the owner ego just doesn't work. In addition Bill's son is also blacklisted, it was rumored that when Bill retires from UNC his son would take over as HC. It is a shame that Bill wasn't able to get the most wins in the NFL, but I think that Andy Reid based on his 5 year contract will probably have the record in 3 years and is younger. Bill is in his 70's I can't imagine him being in his late 70's running a college program, but of course Joe Pa, did into his 80's so anything is possible. Maybe his GF is rejuvenating him to a young age.

You guys do realize we could conceivably have a Vikings/Bills Super Bowl, don't you...? Place your bets!
Losing to the Bills I can take. They are very good, and Josh Allen may in fact be an alien. But losing Carlton Davis, Alim McNeil, Khail Dorsey, and David Montgomery to season-ending injuries in that game... That's a bit much. Especially considering we're already missing Hutchinson, Anazalone, Rodriguez, and countless others. We are still 12-2, but it feels a lot more tenuous than it did a few weeks ago.
Goff threw for almost 500 yards and 5 TDs with no picks and we still lost.

We are down to 5th string on D. No wonder they scored 48 pts. Pretty brutal.
That will be the next step for Dan to take- be aggressive enough to not risk your body like that.
