Fantastic! My first marriage only lasted 4, and this girl (we've been together for 6) was so turned off by her first marriage that she just flat-out refuses. I dream of a relationship like yours.
August 17th will be our 45th. Trying to figure out what to get her to celebrate. She doesn't like vacations and buys any clothing, etc she likes when she sees it. Probably will end up being the granite countertops she wants or something like that.

45 years is outstanding!
My parents celebrated their 50th last year by taking the entire family to the Turks and Caicos Islands for a week. It was a lot of fun to just hang out as a family. All 22 of us.
my Dad died a month after his and Mom's 63rd .... through good and bad (the bad never seemed, to us kids, to be all that bad)
27 seems to be the number...
