I have good taste?
OK what about this one. Serious junk in the trunk. Or this, I can't tell them apart

I will agree on the Leaf. I don't think those two AMCs are the best looking cars in the world but they aren't ugly.
Also there is a joke about our local Steelers fan in there somewhere.

No joke, I don't understand that silly American Hand Egg game enough to make jokes about it. Just looking for an ugly junk in the trunk pic
Ugliest I've ever seen is the upcoming Nissan electric van. Beats the Multipla even.
First, zombie thread, but cool to bring it back up.
Maybe I'll be a lone wolf on this, but the Leaf's styling is one of the reasons I got one. While it's certainly funky, I don't find it ugly. I like it's uniqueness. I think they did a good job making it different than the herd, but not ugly. Obviously, if I like the Leaf, I like the electric van too. And the color rocks! I've got that damn Zero Emission sticker for my car, just need to get them installed.
We finally got one of these. Holy crap is it ever ugly, even for a commercial vehicle.
No kidding, people go out of their way to give it a wide berth when they walk around it.

Is that because they think it's really ugly, or is it because you're behind the wheel, grinning like a madman, careening down the sidewalk?

I'm careening down the sidewalk instead of the road because I have a paper bag over my head. That thing's a three bagger: you put one bag over it, then two over your own head in case one bag comes off.

I believe Nissan is winning the "ugly category" hands down right now.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
Exhibit C:
The Cube and the GTR can be Exhibits D and E.

This one is always near the top of my list, at least for American stuff. There is not one single attractive curve, angle, proportion, or detail on that entire car.
Alright, E36 M3 starting time. I REALLY like the bustle butt caddies. Always have. Same goes with the GM X platform with all those weird 4 door hatches that were birthed from its loins. I do quite enjoy the Nissan Juke, as well. Reminds me of the Isuzu VehiCROSS- another car I love. I find the leaf inoffensive at best, same with the sentra/versa/whatever the hell it is. They're too generic to be ugly. You want ugly? I'm calling out the C7 Corvette. That thing is berkeleying hideous.
I've always thought the Turdbota Echo was a horribly misproportioned appliance, the arse end looks like it's going to fall off a step ladder.
The various late-90s or early-oughts Corollas kind of have the same problem - they all look like they're wearing flood pants, especially in S trim, where the "ground effects" skirts just appear to be somebody wearing bellbottom flare jeans that are about a foot too short for their legs.
But I wouldn't call them hideous. Hideous, to me, is that Matador, or the second-gen Seville, the Juke, or that spider-looking thing from the first page - a perfect storm of questionable detailing and bad proportions.
The Leaf and Murano Convertible are ass backwards ugly. I wouldn't be caught dead in the Murano. The Versa Sedan is ugly but very room inside. The Juke gets points for manual transmission available but only with sunroof (boo). It is odd looking and not much cargo space to boot. I'd probably still drive one. The echo has always been hideous and the C7 Vette just tries to hard and was hit with the ugly stick one too many times.

I drove one recently. Looks just like Homer Simpson.

Someday I want to put the running gear from a CTS-V under that body as a tribute (and because it would be AWESOME).
