Has anyone done this on a 79-86 Foxbody?
Just wondering how it would look
You could probably modify some bmw headlights to work. I think this was a photoshop example of 5-series headlights in place of four sealed beams.
The round peg in a square hole can look pretty good sometimes. 1G CRX + Round sealed beams.
the crownvic with the 5er headlights has a bentlyesque look to it.
and the civic is VERY italian looking

The googles brings this "sort of" version:

You might be better off with the later GT nose.. that had taller composite headlights.
You could also try to find something like a composite rectangular light. I think some GM trucks had them that were used to replace the quad rectangles

Innocenti CRX? I love the look actually. Very cool indeed.

I think if you were to put some clear lenses over the round eyes, you'd have something very...LeMans-esque. I approve.
I can see that. I remember seeing a similar vintage capri with covers over the headlights. It looked good
I dunno... maybe I'm being unimaginative, but I find it difficult to think it could come out looking like anything other than someone crashed and just wired up what they had on hand rather than fixing it right.
I'd love to be proved wrong, though.
Im not sure if the e30 lights (the lights in the Pshop) would fit. The e30 lights have a 5 1/2" diameter. It looks like the smallest head lights are around 5 1/2" or 5 3/4". The 60's mustang lights were 7". You could fit some 5 3/4" lights but they would be cut off a bit on the top and bottom depending on how you spaced them out. Might look good, kind of like a lazy eye mod on a miata. The Harly light idea is not half bad ether!
