Some of these picks I just don't get, but some intrigue me a great deal. There's something fascinatingly simple about the Indiana choice.

I feel fortunate that there's a restaurant down the street, owned by a Pittsburgh native, that offers a Primanti that's better than the original.
I'm tired of lists that are ginned up and metered out in slow-ass Java specifically to generate page hits.
i can confirm that Leo & Susie's Green Top BBQ just northwest of Birmingham Hwy 78 is some of the best eatin in the state. It is just across the Hwy for a joint called "The Boobie Trap" any guess on what they do there?
I was going to say the BLT or pulled pork BBQ for SC. They got it right.
A lot of those look pretty good.

I'm driving the wife's new car back from Chicago next week. A lot of these motherberkeleyers are on the route.

Manteno Illinois has a Mexican diner with The best mozz-steak and pepper torta I've ever had. I used to eat it twice a week when I worked around the corner.
I'm disappointed in Oregon's sandwich. I feel improperly represented...
A lot of those look pretty amazing, though. Fortunately, with our food carts and so forth, Portland is a good place to find some semblance of a few of those...
We do have one of the best fried bologna sandwiches in the U.S.

They got it wrong for Minnesota....they picked the Jucy Lucy served at the 5-8 Club, but the one served at Matt's Bar is the original and is better.

Off your beaten path, but I'd be happy to take you out for lunch & Tito's martinis, pumpkin. AMS is 20 mins. down the road.
