The in depth story.

For 10 days now, this guy has not been noticed. I am pretty amazed by that. Possible sighting of his vehicle in Texas yesterday but still nothing more. Could be wrong?

Some of us drive a significant amount. Seems wise to be on the lookout. A Nissan Rouge is sort of non-descript but the crowd here is more than astute at recognizing cars.

Edit: Actual photo of his Nissan Rouge:

You know I am going to have to google Nissan Rouge as I don't off hand remember what they look like.

His choice of vehicle is going to work in his favor. Whenever I see a Nissan, I have to look away, they're that ugly!

I expected a Nissan Rouge to be red.

Well, they'll never find him in low income areas. Those things are all over the place with 20% 14 year notes.

The story says he took out a $4k Title Loan against the Rouge just days before. Seems he fits the profile just right.

That is not Rouge. It looks more silverish. Argent if you wish.

How many local newscasters have said some variation of "he's gone rogue" and giggled to themselves at how clever they were this week before going on air?

This is why we need to teach our children about cars. Pretty sure my daughter would've called b.s. on his "I'm a badass spy" story as soon as she saw him driving that POS.

Any kid that watched True Lies would have spotted the BS. They know real fake spies drive 58 Corvettes and look like Bill Paxton .

Or is he brilliant by being so obviously not there's no way he was lying? I mean the only way to be more anonymous is a camry.

So, he made a horrible life decision and then went on to abduct a minor.

He could be heading to the Rogue River in Oregon, but typed in Rouge River into his nav system and it is sending him to the Red River in Texas.

A couple of things that stand out to me.

Walmart has some damn good security cameras.

Family of 12. Damn dude, tie a knot in that thing.

The wife is one scary lady.

The dad isn't exactly what I'd call normal looking either. I guess Bart Simpson grew up after all.

Old Tad looks like he knows how to put away the beer. By the case. $4500 isn't going to last him long.

Apparently the investigation from February was right. They don't need any more proof.

This sure does happen with interesting frequency. I blame the parents as much as the rogue teacher, but maybe some psych evaluations are necessary for acceptance into teacher school.

Kid made vulnerable by ridiculous family, teacher looking for some sweet underage girl action...girl looking for....anything. recipe for disaster.

I'm still most amazed that he remains unnoticed for what now, 2 weeks?

I figure he still has the Nissan. It would be impossible to sell effectively and no reports if it being found where he dropped it and stole another car.

So "Rogue's Rogue rogue: Rouge River rather than Rogue"?

That's because you have to use French adjective order if you wanted to go to the River Rouge.
