I hope it has airplane-style split ignition wiring to make it easier to diagnose a failed coil or plug

If I remember from seeing the build pics on FB, it is a 3pc e-shaft.

I love me some rotary and have two of them, but isn't that getting a little ridiculous? For that length and weight an LSx with your choice of forced induction would be a smaller package, cheaper, more reliable, and probably lighter and more HP.

I can't even imaging what the E shaft and weights cost to get built.

It does sound cool though.

Weight should be similar to an LSx. Reliability should be pretty good if they keep it NA

And the LSx probably uses less fuel

Considering the fact that an LSx can beat an NA 2 rotor RX8 I think that is a safe assumption.
